Horse ownership is a commitment of love, time and proper care.  Unfortunately some horses end up in the wrong hands and that's where we come in.  Trusting Spirit Horse Rescue is a non-profit organization dedicated to promote the preventioin of equine abuse and suffering, and to rescue those equines that have fallen victim to abuse or are at high risk for ending up in an abusive or neglectful situation.  We are also dedicated to improving human-horse relationship through rehabilitation and education.

There are many ways that you as an individual, small company or large corporation can help the horses.  Trusting Spirit Horse Rescue operates soley on donations.  Primary funding comes from caring people like you.  If we each give a little of ourselves, through a small monetary contribution, by volunteering some of our time or dontating horse items no longer needed, together we can truly improve the quality of life for horses in need.

The work we do is time-consuming and expensive but truly a labor of love for each of us involved. 

Did you know that on average, a starving horse takes approximately six months or longer to recover.  Horses placed in our care that arrived injured or have chronic problems could take years to recover.  Some horses may require minimal amounts of care under a thousand dollars while others may require several thousand dollars to help them recover from injuries or illnesses.
