Spirit

Spirit is a colt who was born at the rescue farm on May 11th, 2007.  He was weaned on February 24th and is ready for adoption.  He has been haltered and lead.  He is pictured here at 5 months old.  The photo on the right he is with his mom.  All he needs is someone to spend the time with him to build his trust and confidence.  He is sound and should mature under 15hh.

March 2007 Day After Arrival

This is a shy somewhat apprehensive mare.  Ruby loves being brushed by a person who has a patient gentle way about them..  She was saddled and ridden briefly in a round corral last fall, but needs a lot more work.  She has great potential for someone who will take their time to finish her training.  Ruby is easy to lead and will give her feet for trimming as long as it’s done slowly and quietly.  She is a small mare, not much more than 14hh.  She is 2 to 3 years old.
