March 2007 Day After Arrival

This is a shy somewhat apprehensive mare.  Ruby loves being brushed by a person who has a patient gentle way about them.   She was saddled and ridden briefly, but needs a lot more work.  She has great potential for someone who will take their time to finish her training.   She is a small mare, not much more than 14hh.  She is 4 to 5 years old.

EDEN

Eden is about 6 years old.  She has been saddled and had some ground work done.  She is a very sensitive but responsive mare, who wants to learn.  She is an Arabian under 15hh.

RAINDROP

Raindrop is about 5 or 6 years old and started under saddle. She had been ridden out in open spaces and thru the orchard.  We took her to the NCW fair in 2009, and she was shown both in the adult classes and in walk-trot.  She has also done well being led thru local parades.  I would not say she is ready to be a kids horse at this point, but with some miles on her has potential to be a great kids horse.  The picture below was taken in the fall of 2009. She has not had steady riding since then.  The picture to the left was taken in July of 2010. She can go all day and hardly break a sweat, she walks out nicely when on the trail.  She is an extremely easy keeper, healthy and sound.  We are not sure of her breed.  She is a petite but strong girl around 14hh-14.2hh tall.
